A spontaneous project I felt inclined to make. I modeled most of this project in Maya. I imported an orthographic reference photo of an actual Gameboy into photoshop, made a black and white silhouette, imported that image into illustrator, Vectored said image and then imported that into Maya scaled in inches so it comes in scaled accurately. I then cleaned up and quaded the vectors from Illustrator and started extruding out my basic shapes and pieces.
After modeling, I UVed, applied an AI Shader and then export/imported in substance painter. Textured as close as possible to my reference then rendered in Substance painter. Finished render in Photoshop.
